The final day started well in decent weather with a steady climb out of Looe up to East Cliff and then on to Millendreath where on the climb out there was some amusing art work ...

More art work on the way into Seaton ...

On reaching and then leaving Seaton there is a choice of route to Downderry namely to walk along the road or take the low tide route along a sea wall and then along the sand. Due the previous days of wet weather the sand looked like it would make heavy walking so we chose the road route which turned out to be a good choice as on getting to the centre of Downderry the rain started. DavidA decided that the up and down to Portwrinkle was again a step too far and retired to a cafe whilst we contacted Fiona to arrange to pick him up and meet us in Portwrinkle.

Justine and I set off again in the now reducing rain to climb up to Longstone ridge at which point the sun came out and we packed up our coats. Not long after though another band of light rain appeared but we still arrived in Portwrinkle ahead of schedule and had to wait for the support team in the Jolly Sailor cafe where we had started at the beginning of the week.
