TeamSWCP again chose an excellent week of weather to get back on the SWCP based in a 3-bedroomed house called Lighthouse Cottage in a rural setting north east of Truro.

The plan this week was to fill in a missing bit on the North Cornwall coast between Perranporth and Portreath and then start walking from Falmouth towards Plymouth, aiming to get to Fowey on this trip.

We were walking again with Justine and David A and, as Justine's parents had arranged to visit friends in St Just, we had a day off walking on the Thursday to meet them in Marazion for lunch.

Also, Justine was doing a 2 mile swim in the Serpentine on the Saturday in order to complete the London Classics of Serpentine swim, London Marathon and the 100mile RideLondon, so Justine and David A arranged to arrive on the Sunday in time to do the short walk from Par to Fowey.

Each of the above walks are described in individual blog pages.

NOTE - The SWCP Association Walking Guides for each leg of the path are available from the SWCP Association Shop and are packed with detail not only about the route but also interesting facts about what to see on the way.
